This new home at Hastings Point sits on a quiet strip between Cudgera Creek and the beach, a short walk from the headland. Raised on a platform floor above the sand, the home is timber-framed under a roofline that steps between skillion and gabled forms in corrugated steel.

The main openings look back over the creek to the bushland behind, with the beach and the point just across the road.
